Tip:
"One of the benefits of the hotel is that you get to stay on beach chairs that are right on the beach but not ON the beach (this is nice because then you are less likely to be constantly approached to buy things by locale beach sellers)."

"It’s like staying at your friends ´ shabby chic beach house. You feel at home and very comfortable. So much nicer than the big impersonal resorts. Beautiful beach and not crowded; the location towards the southern part of Diani probably helps too. Extremely helpful and kind staff who will do it all to ensure your stay is perfect (both at the hotel and the restaurant). "

Tip:
"For restaurants look no further than next door the Salty Squid beach bar is the place to be. As rooms are located next to the restaurants it’s very close to access (and it closes at 10:00 pm so early enough if you’re not a night owl and are keen to go to bed early). The beach beds are plenty in the shade of the coconut trees. Staff will advise on things to do and see (I recommend the excursion on the Pilli pipa dhow). You have yoga classes next door (didn’t get a chance to try), kite and diving, or just a walk on the beach, or a massage. "

"Of course the Salted Squid, also The Blue Marlin and the Cave. The river mouth of the Congo at Diani Beach. Safari Tour, especially the lodges Lionhill Lodge, Ziwani Camp. Kite Surfing Beginner Course at H2O Extreme."
