"This is the finest B&B we have ever experienced. Dave and Sara are perfect hosts and should be very proud of Glebe House. The work they have done in restoring the building, including Dave’s superb craftsmanship, has clearly been a labor of love for them.They were so welcoming for us they simply could not have done more and we felt a little uncomfortable that we did not take more advantage the awesome facilities and hospitality they offered. The rooms are exceptional by any standard. We just came from 5 star hotels in Europe and Glebe House is as good as any. The grounds are amazing and the breakfast and hospitality could not be beaten. We were only disappointed in ourselves in that we had only booked for the one night. It is an experience that deserves at least 2 nights and that would also give the opportunity to experience what the area has to offer. Do yourself a favour and book Glebe House if for no other reason than to spoil yourself. We are onto to our second B&B since Glebe House and while both are more than pleasant they are not up to the standard set by this wonderful experience."

Tip:
"1. Arrive early for afternoon tea. We did not as we had a commitment in Edinburgh but we wish we had.

2. The Kirkstyle Inn is great for a nice dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service was great.

3. Visit the historic church and take the guided tour. A wonderful piece of local and Scottish history.

4. Stay at least 2 nights and spoil yourself with a brilliant B&B. "

"We had an outstanding experience of warm hospitality, luxury accommodation and individual service. The selection of homemade cakes and cookies for tea was absolutely delicious, as well as the *** dinner. Breakfast was another culinary highlight which we won't forget and which made our stay an unforgettable impression of our journey. I also enjoyed the conversation with Sara and David and the exchange of cooking secrets. Altogether I regret not to be able to rate this stay as a 6 - a high-class B&B for a reasonable price. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and nothing to improve."

Tip:
"Our biggest mistake was to just stay for one night. This B&B deserves an extended stay to savour the food, the house and the hospitality. Make sure to stay on a rainy day to enjoy the generous lounge(s)"
