"We had the most wonderful stay for three nights. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and the room was spacious, well appointed and extremely clean. There was nothing to fault. The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from. There are lovely pubs within a few minutes drive. The views are spectacular as is all of the surrounding area and the owner's garden which you can sit in. I wish every B&B were like Low Raisgill as we would definitely book again."

Tip:
"Turn off your phone (there's no signal anyway!) and enjoy the peace and surroundings. Accessed via narrow lanes, take your time driving."

"From driving up to the door and unloading our car. The first class service began, we were met by Hazel who was so warm and friendly and welcomed us with a lovely smile.
She invited us into their beautiful garden for a cup of tea and to die for shortbread ( home baked of course ) after we were shown around the house and taken to our bedroom which was named ASH. We had a wonderful view from our window of the most beautiful garden stocked full of colourful plants. Also a bird feeder which attracted some lovely birds, my favourite one was the young woodpecker that arrived daily to feed,
Helen & Keith were a lovely couple who looked after us so well. Breakfast was done lovely by Keith assisted by Helen. They were a great team. It was a pleasure staying there. It felt like our bit of heaven. We thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for giving us such memories that will last for ever.
Wishing you both every happiness in your retirement.
