"Le Petit Cinq is a true home from home and is beautifully designed and equipped. Rachel & Anthony are amazing hosts and made us so very welcome. The Gite is located in a very beautiful rural area with panoramic and far reaching views across stunning countryside and The Pyrenees. The garden is so pretty and has several lovely seating spots from which the view is gorgeous: morning coffee and breakfast in one spot, then evening drinks and dinner from another. So many choices! The house is also in a very central spot for sightseeing to many historic and beautiful towns, chateaus, abbeys and much more. "

Tip:
"We had a long list of towns and places to see. Although we bought a road map (before we left the UK) we resorted to asking CHAT GPT to sort out half day routes for us incorporating all of our list. It was brilliant! Our friendly AI tool came up with circular tours taking in everything on our list and advising of drive times and what to particularly look out for in every place. It also told us the best Winery to go to for lunch and why. We followed each tour and went out every other day, ticking off all these amazing places on our list. Then on the other days we relaxed 'at home' by the pool, and mostly by the beautiful pool. Therefore getting a good balance between activity and enjoying the beauty of this fabulous holiday home. A hire car is a must if you're not driving there in your own car. Our highlights were -Foix (stunning hill top chateau), Mirapoix (on a Monday because it is market day and it is a fab market), Carcassonne, Camon, Calabre, Fanjeaux and Montreal. "

"Rachel and Anthony are the perfect hosts in the most perfect setting and a superb property. Everything you need is supplied and the accommodation is lovely and so well appointed. Breakfast was provided on our first morning which was a nice touch and much appreciated. The gardens and the pool area are delightful with so many lovely spots to sit with a glass of wine and take in the fabulous views. We stayed in March and the wood burning stove was great on a chilly evening. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed."

"Beautiful place to stay with fantastic views. The property is spotless with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Gardens and pool area are lovely and the surrounding area very peaceful. The owners Rachel and Anthony are both really friendly and helpful plus non obtrusive but on hand if you need anything. We would definitely recommend to anyone as a lovely place to stay. "

"There are plenty of places to see in the surrounding area including Carcassonne, Mirepoix, and Narbonne Plage if you fancy a stroll along one of the beaches. The property also has many tips and recommendations with handy maps and guides for either walking or driving. "
