"The house is a relatively new build in a traditional style. It’s directly off the main road but it’s becomes very quiet at night and so we didn’t notice any traffic sounds at all.
The bedroom and bathroom we stayed in looked brand new and were spotlessly clean. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. Fabulous view of the countryside from our window. Tea making facilities were good (mugs being provided rather than cups), though there’s never enough milk, no matter where you stay!
Our hosts were friendly and accommodating and made a great full English breakfast for us each morning as well as providing cereals and yoghurts.
If I were to be very persnickety I’d say that the pressure in the shower wasn’t very good but i can put up with that for a couple of nights.
All in all, a great place to stay, conveniently situated between the Dale’s and the Lake District National parks.
Would recommend. "

Tip:
"There are plenty of pubs and restaurants a short drive away. The nearest town is the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale which has a nice river walk and plenty of places to eat and drink. Grange Over Sands is a short drive away and both the Dales and Lake district national parks are within easy driving distance. "

"We were warmly welcomed by Paul who explained everything we needed to know.
In the absence of a sitting room our friends came and sat in our bedroom with us and this was fine.
Actually easy to locate because the house stands out above the road level ... no need to go into Ireby village."

Tip:
"Very well located as a springboard for the Lakes or North Yorkshire; nearby Kirkby Lonsdale well worth a visit too.
Tea Shop within two miles, also other eating houses.

Recommend - use it or lose it!"
