"This is a beautiful and interesting area to explore by car or on foot .
Just to walk along Shore Road is in itself a delight .

We were interested in the history of St Monan’s church and the little cottages clustered around it . We found the local people friendly and willing to tell us about the area.

At a different level , the local Coop is an excellent store !"

"The kreggan pub (a short drive ) has fantastic fish n chips ,in my opinion. There is always something to see from battleship to submarines on the lock's. Plenty of walks, places to visit, "
