"Staying at the Fern Villa was absolutely a highlight in my Scotland trip! David was the kindest and sweetest host. My bestfriend and I visited from the states for just a couple of nights and we both wish we could’ve stayed longer because of our stay at the Villa alone. Glencoe is magical and beautiful, the detail and atmosphere that David and Catherine have curated go hand in hand with its surroundings. So grateful!! Thank you!!!"

"The 2 nights at Catherine ands David’s Fern Villa ensured a very comfortable and memorable stay.
From the moment I arrived I knew I’d made the right choice. Made to feel very welcome with friendly and professional hosts. Charming characterful property with cosy open fire in front room. Very comfortable clean bedroom with en-suite. Blackout curtains and quality bedding and very good mattress ensured good sleep. Delicious big bowl porridge for breakfast. Next day I asked for smaller portion so I had room for really tasty bacon and scrambled eggs. The big bay window in the dining room allowed great views of the hills. Spoke to guests who had been coming back to Fern Villa for over 16 yrs. Catherine and David are excellent hosts who have a great knowledge of the local area.Highly recommend this venue and would return . Thank you. "
