Tip:
"You do have to set up your own breakfast table, everything is provided and Judith then brings it down for you as they live above your accommodation, it is not a problem at all.Very close to major A roads for exploring too,as Judith says it's advisable to book some restaurants,as we missed out on the Powfoot Hotel sadly. "

"Very tranquil location with outdoor table and chairs to sit and admire the sea view which was tremendous The apartment was very clean, modern and decorated well.The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Our hosts Judith and Eric were wonderful as nothing was too much trouble and they had loads of information leaflets/booklets so that you could enjoy whatever you wanted to do. Why not try it as you won't be disappointed."

Tip:
"Annan isn't far away and has some good places to have lunch and/or dinner. Our Place was my favourite and is recommended by trip advisor. La Fortuna is an Italian restaurant and also very good. We went to Sandyhills beach which was lovely and there are a few different beaches to explore along the coastline. Dumfries is about 20 miles away for a good day out and for craft and art Kirkcudbright has a good Art Centre which we went to. There are so many things to explore around the area the list is endless!"

Tip:
"The biggest attractions for us was the estuary and the house garden, which we had the use of. Sitting in the sunshine spotting the wading birds and watching the tide come in was close to heaven, so peaceful.
We enjoyed walks in the area and a visit to the Devils Porridge is recommended.
We had a good day out visiting Rockcliffe and Kippford. "
