"I've been to Scotland four times now and of all the accommodations I've had, this was the best. Carmen and Phill, the hosts, seemed to read my mind even over quite a distance and let me know in advance that I could bring my luggage before check-in time. They were very warm and welcoming. My room was the smallest in the house but very cosy cleverly set up with space to unpack and store my belongings. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptious - a very generous buffet with more choice than at a much bigger hotel in Drumnadrochit. What surprized me was how quiet it was at night despite the central location near the railway station. The view from the guest lounge is great and the lounge is a very nice place to sit and rest and enjoy a drink and maybe a chat with other guests in the evening. IDuring breakfast mostly Scottish music played in the background which I think is a very good idea. I'd have liked it very much if this kind of music would be played also in the evenings when the bar was open. There is so much wonderful music by Scottish perfomers to choose from as shown by the Gaelic programmes on Radio Scotland. I loved every minute of my stay at the Guisachan Guest House and I'm looking forward to staying again."
