"Warmest of welcomes from a lovely Yorkshire fellow, made to feel at home, relaxed and nothing too much trouble. Given choice of facilities on arrival which was very kind. Great sense of humour, loved hearing Damien s funny stories whilst chatting around breakfast table it's good to stop and talk in our busy lives. Warm welcome, kind host, great fun and most professional all attributes we appreciate. Stunning location good for the soul. Sumptuous spacious room ,quality furnishings breath taking views. Felt quite at home just relaxing in the sun lounge or room watching the changing scene no need to go anywhere when you have everything around you. Loved the dressing room very handy, loved early morning tea in the sun lounge very comfy bed and sofa ! Sad to leave but hope to return soon if still running this beautiful B and B. "

"Lovely walk across to Rough island , food for the soul....peace , quiet, bird song lapping waves stunning scenery. Spending time on the shoreline was enough activity for us. Good food in both pubs. Good tea in the gallery too. Kirkcudbright not too far, Gem museum was most interesting and also fun for children . "
