"Lovely big pitches, nice and clean, very friendly, had a message the morning after arrival to ask if everything was ok. Good internet on O2 and Vodafone. Amazing dog walk and great walks from the campsite.
Great that there was a fridge provided but a freezer section for ice blocks would have been good."

Tip:
"Lots of cow fields with a few bull signs. Not keen on walking through those with 2 dogs even through they were on a lead. "

Thank you for taking the time to review out little site. unfortunately the fields are the cows homes and nothing i can do about that so unfortunately its just find an alternative route. Re the fridge and ice packs, if you had asked or gone into "the shed" you would have seen a freezer with ice packs to borrow of you could put yours in to re freeze.

The only very minor point is that there was a small smell from the toilets when the wind was blowing in the wrong direction.

I'm really sorry for this, it was not something that i had noticed or you mentioned during your stay. I will definitely look in to it. you have given us a 3 for facilities, can i just ask what other facilities you would like on a small site? we have toilets, showers, wash up area, bins elsan and grey waste points, a dog walk and a small honesty shop, I'm not sure what else we can do so all ideas are welcome. Thanks

Also we only received the booking vehicle details form the very morning we were about to leave, I only discovered it chance...the day or 2 beforehand wound have been more helpful, or even at the time of booking the accommodation.
I was sole driver, elderly passenger can not read emails on mobile. Gas lighter had not been refiled, tricky to light a gas stove! Did not use hot tub, weather tooo cold, it might have been nice! perhaps next time. Lift with luggage was most helpfull. "

"Foxton Locks - The Foxton Locks Inn - nice pub served Sunday lunch, good value. "

Thank you for your thoughts, we will as always take these into consideration. We are glad you enjoyed your stay on the whole and made the most of the the early check in from 10am that was offered to you. I understand that the Shed sign may be made bigger but guests don't normally miss the parking sign with cars parked there and drive straight through the middle of a field. All the details you needed were sent out at least 2 days before, the only one that was sent on the day is your registration form which can only be done on the day and what would normally be done at a reception if we had one. Sorry you found the gas lighter had run out of gas but as you found there is always more than one left in the tent in case of such things. i hope this answers a few things for you and we hope to see you again.
