"This a delightful, spacious cottage and the owners attention to every detail was exceptional. As soon as you enter the cottage you feel right at home and as ours was a winter stay the heating was already on so we were cosy right from the start. The lochside location is stunning (even in bad weather!) with an outside seating area to watch for wildlife (binoculars provided if you forget yours) this is a peaceful retreat and one we would gladly return to. "

Tip:
"The owners provide a vast array of information books and leaflets as well as OS maps of the area. There are several popular destinations only a short drive away. The local Community shop is well stocked and the friendly staff happy to help and there are supermarkets at Portree and Broadford. The Old Inn pub was unfortunately closed during our stay but we understand it is well worth a visit when open. The owners again provide a comprehensive list of places to eat etc. "

"Fantastic location in probably the best village on Skye. The cottage has all the facilities you need and a nice hot shower for after a long and damp day in the hills!
Very clean and comfortable. Amazing views and would definitely stay there again."

Tip:
"Just a mile from The Old Inn in Carbost - we ate there a couple of nights and the food is great.
Highlights for us were walking the Fairy Glen (not the pools) and the Quiraing Circuit - like being in another world."
