"Ive stayed here many times over the years.
The standard of the food hasnt changed and it is delicious , big portions also.
I would and have always recommended the Ginn house for your stay

"

Tip:
"Your close to most attractions here
3 miles to workington town centre
Cockermouth is a 20 minuite drive
Keswick 35 minuites
It is also worth walking down the hill opposite and walking to a lovely village called Camerton.
It is a lovely walk past the river, very scenic "

"Our first night we were running about ten minutes late on arriving after hitting heavy traffic. We highlighted we had dinner booked for half past seven at check in. The person that checked us in said they would need to check if we could still have our table. The restaurant was very busy and we did get our table. However, I think it was the way they said it wasn't very customer friendly. My husband went up for a drink at the bar about 10.30ish and was told that the beer was off but it wasn't. He was then told that it would be his last drinks order. We were sitting in the lounge and our understanding that the bar would be open until at least eleven if guests were in the bar or lounge. This was a bit disappointing as we have never experienced this any other time we have stayed with you. "

"Great location, easy parking, very clean and lovely helpful staff

We didn't have dinner but it would have been a great option at the Inn if we did and the breakfast was lovely. Nice thick good quality bread and a proper toaster so no burnt toast!"

Tip:
"Loads of restaurants available of all cuisines just a few miles away "
