"Very friendly staff very welcoming. Room clean very comfortable beds. Bar service was good. Excellent breakfast best poached eggs ever. Good value for money."

Tip:
"Tour guide on the lakes and area would have been nice. A/C in room would have been nice also. Or put bigger windows so we can open them more. Also locations of things to do I.e cinemas sporting things like golf, swimming baths etc"

We are so pleased that you found ours staff very friendly and welcoming and of course our Cumbrian breakfast with a choice of poached, scrambled or fried. Please note that there is an information leaflet on our reception and our website has a page of places to visit. Plus our staff would be more than helpful to offer you advice on local attractions.

"The hot water was difficult to operate. Also a hair dryer would have been nice! Other than that it was excellent!"

Thank you for taking the time to place a review following your recent stay with your family. The hot water tap has a restrictor valve and therefore takes a while to come through. This is a safety feature in the Superior Family room. We do have hair dryers in the room which are in the drawer below the tea and coffee station. We hope that you would stay again in the future.
