Lulu & Russell are fantastic hosts & will help where ever they can if need be. "

Tip:
"You can’t go wrong in the witterings in terms of restaurants/pubs. We love eating at the Lamb which is just down the road from the accommodation. We found a nice walk from Linden house to itchenor you’ve got the ship inn there great for a pint though the choice on the menu isn’t great. We tried the quarter Deck cafe in the marina & there was a good choice of food & drinks even alcoholic ones too.
The witterings pub in west wittering is great big beer garden with an outside bar and street food on offer. They also have quite a lot of live entertainment. Obviously there’s the beach which you can’t go wrong east is a stone beach west wittering beach is is lovely golden sand & added nouns of the sand dunes at the far end. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Linden House and appreciated the warm welcome from the owners, accommodation and the facilities provided. There are, however, a few suggestions which we feel could make the experience even better for future guests.

The website could benefit from an update so that it accurately reflects the facilities currently available.

As breakfast is no longer offered, it may also be worth reconsidering the B&B description, or perhaps re-introducing a simple breakfast basket with fresh bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, or even the supply of a couple of breakfast plates/dishes and cutlery for those guests who wish to bring along their own breakfast meals. This could be a lovely additional touch.

The road and flagpole, when windy, can be a little noisy at times, although this is obviously difficult to control completely.

A few other relatively small additions could also enhance the stay, such as bathrobes for the hot tub, a choice of pillows, USB/USB-C charging points, better bedside lighting, blackout blinds, and a full-length mirror and a welcome tray.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and feel that with a few relatively modest improvements and some updated website information, Linden House could offer an even more comfortable and memorable experience for its guests"

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your suggestions. We do appreciate it. Regarding breakfast, we did do a breakfast hamper for some years, however last year we decided to not offer the breakfast option as many guests enjoy going to eat at the various beach restaurants. If you had wanted some cutlery and plates we could have provided this. We do have bathrobes for the hot tub but you decided that you did not want to use it. We also have USB charging points in the sockets behind the bed. There is also a full length mirror behind the door. Hope you had a good journey home and look forward to welcoming you back again.

"Lovely stay at Linden House, so close to the sandiest beach, West Wittering, took us less than 7 min to drive.

The little touches were really thoughtful, from the Fan for the room to the cold water in the fridge and the chairs which you can look out and watch the horses on the back garden.

Next time we will book the west wing, but we will certainly be back. "

Tip:
"The book with highlighted restaurants is a great touch, we ate dinner at the Shore Inn and this was really nice, a family run restaurant and fish and chips at Morbys."
