"Wonderful warm welcome and a beautiful place to stay. Really the best self catering accommodation we've ever had. All the facilities are immaculate and high quality. Kitchen is fully equipped to do as much or as little cooking as you wish. I do hope we can come again. Robert and Jan"

"Excellent accommodation and ideal for two. Very clean and equipped to a high standard. Just less than 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kirkwall. If rain keeps you in there's plenty to read, DVDs to watch or games to play. Off road parking a bonus. Welcome pack much appreciated as was the personal welcome by Kathleen."

Tip:
"Little shop opposite is very handy and there is a Tesco and LIDL in town. Although there are buses we found a car a must to get around. If you want to see inside Maeshowe you have to book as visitor numbers are limited. We bought an Explorer Pass and booked online beforehand. There are very good free daily tours at the Ness of Brodgar dig during the summer season."
