We had the most wonderful family holiday staying in the Helena cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The facilities were wonderful, the kids enjoyed the pool area and had many happy hours swimming and playing. They also enjoyed the table tennis and badminton and had many games of pool! The location of the Victorian barn is set in the most beautiful location, surrounded by fields and us adults enjoyed the peace and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay.

We had the best week, we visited Monkey World, spent the day on the beach at Weymouth, visited the lovely town of Shaftesbury. We were also lucky that we were able to go to the Oak Fair, a wonderful country fair. We ate out three times and had three amazing meals, the carvery at the Royal Oak was good. The Greenman and the Fox Inn were some of the best food ive eaten, well worth a visit.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful full of nature and tranquil.Hot tubs were Clean and well maintained and the cottages were a good size very clean and modern inside. My Only critisism was that they are not what I would call easily accessible for wheelchair users. Quite high lips on patio entry, and doorways inside only just wide enough for a standard wheelchair. The loose gravel on paths on arrival were rather awkward to push a chair on. Games room was excellent for the kids also the pool was brilliant. The pool table was a bit dated and required new cues.

Very peaceful countryside escape. No local shops within 10 minutes, supermarkets 20 mins drive. The brewery Tap restaurant was excellent. We visited the local towns and weymouth 40minutes drive away. We also spent a day at Hamworthy beach, watersports, adventure play park and a massive padding pool there also. The walking trails locally are very rural and a beautiful edition for any nature lovers.
