"Sharon and Stuart our hosts gave us very useful information re the area and beyond. Made us very welcomed. Nice to have use of the conservatory and separate lounge.
Sharon gave us a choice for breakfast and everything was to a high standard.

"We were interested in the nature on the island. It did not disappoint. We saw deer in the grounds plus other areas we went to. Our highlight was seeing 3 White Tailed Eagles and managing to get photos of them. Also saw various other birds. We were delighted to see a House Martins nest just outside our bathroom window in which we could view 5 baby nestlings being fed by the parents.
Enjoyed the coastal drive and saw Eas Fors waterfall in full spate. Calgary Bay is a beatiful beach.
The Coffee Pot is a good bakery cafe for amazing cakes and pies in Salen.
Ahoy not to experience any midges while on the island. "
