" Booking was easy and Sarah sent detailed information and responded to all queries. The house and surroundings are spectacular."

Tip:
"The house is rather isolated but it's only a short drive to lots of places of interest/places to eat. The surrounding Scots border towns are interesting and Edinburgh and Northumberland are within reAsonable driving distance. We enjoyed the stay a lot and would definitely book again. "

"We have stayed here many times and it is sad that the property is now on the market but for sure understand the reasons. Perhaps when it changes hands it may continue as a let. Fuel stocks were low and the wood for the fires nearly exhausted and need replacement. The closure of the Heavyside Bridge so restricting trips to Morebattle for shopping is a nuisance but clearly not the fault of the property"
