Tip:
"Sams on the beach at Polkerris was really nice food and also had a separated cubicle which felt reassuring during the pandemic. It is best to book up beforehand .
Easy 10 min journey to the Eden project which is also prebook. Was well managed with distancing, (masks required inside) and didn’t take away from the Great experience .
The walk to Par beach was easy reach on foot , surprising to swans on the sea and beach was quiet & lovely ."

3rd November 2019:
"Kay met us and showed us the cottage - lovely home with all the facilities you need including a washing machine which was an added bonus. Comfy beds and really peaceful and quiet in the cottage. It rained while we stayed so didn’t use the outside space but it had chairs and a table which would be nice in the summer. We cooked twice and ate out once and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat in. "

Tip:
"Welcome Home pub a few doors up was very welcoming - food was fine and did for us on arrival but wasn’t spectacular (fine to take children and a nice atmosphere). Day 1 we drive to St Michaels Mount (1.5 ish hrs) had a wonder around and then back up via Sennon Cove (beach cafe shut for season which was a real shame and no indication of that on their website) lovely beach and then St Ives. Day 2 Eden Project - get there for 930 (book day b4 as it’s 10% cheaper) and take a packed lunch. It was relatively quiet when we went on a rainy Friday but it was still busy busy.

Go to Mevagissey and get fresh fish from the harbour (there is also a green grocer in the village by the RNLI shop)."
