"Good value for money in the heart of Helmsley.
We had food and drink in a few places in the Market Square over the course of our stay and the staff in the Royal Oak gave by far the best service.
Wifi was a patchy sometimes and my provider's mobile data (Tesco) wasn't great either in our room sometimes, so if continual internet is essential, perhaps not ideal.
Other reviews have mentioned hearing pub noise/music in the rooms. This wasn't loud enough to be noticeable to us at all, albeit we stayed midweek. Would happily stay again. "
