"We really enjoying staying at Timbers B&B


Particularly welcomed the 'snug' outside our bedroom and being able to sit outside in the garden, weather permitting!


The bedroom and ensuite were immaculate and everything was provided to make our stay perfect

"The White Hart at West Bergholt. Mimosa Restaurant. Colchester Zoo. Castle Museum and park. Frinton and West Mersea. If you route allows, stop at Saffron Walden."

"Wonderful warm welcome. I felt as though I was staying with friends. A large pot of tea, homemade cake and cookies awaited me, not forgetting the nightcap of a mini decanter of Sherry in my room. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Ingredients largely home-grown or locally sourced. From the tempting menu, I opted for creamy scrambled eggs with fresh garden herbs and shaved Parmesan."
