"A beautiful cottage right in the Centre of Edinburgh Old Town. Walking distance to most sites in the city.
The cottage is extremely well equipped for all your needs. And parking too!
Susan , the owner, is excellent with communications via email.
Go and stay!
You won’t regret it!

Tip:
"Very central so perfect for everything!
Tesco express on Holyrood Road bear Dynamic Earth if you want to self cater.
Loads of cafes, takeaways on Royal Mile and onwards into town.
Tapas is brilliant and 3 for £15 deal at Cafe Andaluz on George 1V bridge !"

"This was our third visit and it was superb again. Wonderful location and the cottage is so homely and welcoming.

Susan is always on hand to help with any queries - this time we were asking about specialist knitting wool shops in the area!"

Tip:
"We found the specialist bakery/bread shop on Easter Road (mentioned in the folder in the cottage - The Manna House) which was superb.

Set lunch at Angels with Bagpipes (opposite cathedral) was excellent.

The Haggis Box (in Toll Booth Market just up the road) also well worth a visit."

"Coming back to Edinburgh, we had no doubt that for a place to stay we would enquire first to the Craigwell Cottage. For us it is an ideal place. Susan, the landlord, is doing an outstanding job keeping the cottage clean, comfortable and in perfect working order. The noise coming from the street could be less, but hey, we're in a city not in the countryside."
