"We loved the location, plenty of space both in the cottage and in the garden with super, large enclosed space for our dog. Fiona and Graeme gave us a lovely welcome on our first evening and being just next door respected our privacy but were accessible if we had any queries. Good information was provided before our stay about attractions, shopping for groceries and eating out There was a much appreciated welcome pack and from the perspective of Covid regulations, everything was done correctly. For anyone wanting a tranquil setting in a stunning location away from it all, Hazelgrove is perfect. "

Tip:
"Farigaig forest trails are literally just beyond the garden gate, so great for walkers/cyclists and those with dogs. We did three recommended scenic drives of the South Loch Ness Area and loved them all, particularly Suidhe summit and Loch .Killin. The location is good for visits to places such as Inverness, Culloden battlefield, Cawdor Castle etc. We took a cruise on Loch Ness with Jacobite Cruises and loved it. Plan ahead for eating out in the evening as many places are only open Wednesday- Sunday due to staff issues so are busy. We enjoyed food at the Dores Inn which is in a lovely setting, overlooking the bay and Cameron Tearooms at Foyers. The is a small general store at Foyers only so be prepared to travel to Inverness or Fort Augustus for groceries or an online delivery can be arranged. The roads around the south side of Loch Ness are single track with passing places so makes driving interesting and at times slightly challenging but you will be rewarded with stunning scenery and getting away from the crowds . "

"Hazelgrove is a lovely place, has a lovely view has great facilities and was very comfortable. Could not find fault
Location was great, few minutes walk to loch ness shore, excellent places to visit closeby. Would highly recommend "

Tip:
"Falls of foyers waterfall cafe whitebridge hotel restaurant serves lovely food fort Augustus and boat trip and the monster fish and chip shop, the Dores excellent views and nice food!, the loch ness exhibition centre, we went to forest park, and to wildlife park in the highlands and a trip to Inverness.
Relaxing and cooking and enjoying the house also a must! "
