"Breakfast was freshly cooked to order from good quality ingredients and at any time between 8.30 and 9.30. Guests were allowed access to their rooms throughout the day (great to change when it rained and we got wet!). Paul was an excellent source of local information from where to eat to where to go."

Tip:
"Drink at the "Office", or "Tap and Spile", eat anywhere Paul suggests - it was all good, the coast is lovely on a clear day and Holy Island makes for a great outing."

"Excellent in every way and a great base to explore the North East. Our host Paul is a lovely guy with tons of local knowledge so was able to advise us places to visit, best routes etc."

"If you like stunning deserted beaches head for Longhoughton Beach, near Alnwick.
We found restaurants in Morpeth a mixed bag. The Manzil Indian was disappointing but the Naadon Thai restaurant was brilliant and I'd recommend it highly for food, service and ambience."
