"Given an extremely nice welcome by Karen, who gave us two massive slices of delicious home made cake, which was much appreciated after a fairly long journey. Our cottage (honeysuckle) was spotless and well equipped with kitchen utensils and plenty of towels and two cotton dressing gowns. The view from the decking outside the French doors was simply breathtaking, and you can also take it all in from the modern and well maintained hot tub. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and can't wait to return. "

Tip:
"The Sidmouth Arms in Upottery is the closest, and best, place to Odle farm. Excellent food and drink at reasonable prices. Honiton is a short drive and has a good range of high street shops and cafes, particularly the butchers 'complete meats.' Sidmouth is 30 min drive and is a pleasant afternoon out, and Exeter has everything you'd expect from a big town/city. For a top notch cream tea, Royal Oak farm is only ten mins drive from Odle farm, and is excellent value for money. Great central location for days out. "

"We only tried the local pub the Sidmouth Arms and The River Cottage Canteen and both were excellent."
