Tip:
"The entry road to Arden Country House is slightly confusing at first,take the driveway to the right of the Arden Country House sign, this is a shared driveway."

Thank you for the amazing review and wonderful comments, it was a pleasure to have you as our house guests and we are delighted you enjoyed the house and the breakfasts. Thank you for mentioning about the location. The post code covers 2.5 miles and 12 house so will automatically take guests to the the centre of the postcode which is west of Arden. What three words app and Google Maps are excellent at locating and we try our best we send out several emails prior to arrival to avoid any confusion. The main drive with the lodge cottage and the name on the pillars can be easily missed if you are not familiar with the road and it is later in the day. Thankfully you found us and it was a pleasure to welcome you to Arden. Wishing you a wonderful autumn and fun filled festive season when it arrives Best wishes Beth and John

Tip:
"The location of Arden House is around 5 minutes by car away from the town centre but the hosts are very efficient in organising taxis. The surroundings of Arden House are fabulous and Google Maps will get you right to the doorstep!"

Deligthed to that you enjoyed your stay and that you enjoyed the breakfasts. It It is unfortunate that public transport in Scotland is limited in the countryside but the local taxi service is efficient and as you say the the 2 miles to the centre of town is inly 5-8 minutes. "Our days spent at Arden Country House were like a dream! It feels so far away from it all yet is so close to Linlithgow. Beth and John are amazing hosts. We felt as though we were staying with family. The rooms are beautiful as it the surrounding countryside, so peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts are something we will not soon forget! Starting each day with the amazing breakfasts watching the birds at the feeder and chatting with Beth and John was such a great way to start each day. This truly was a five-star experience in all aspects. We would love to return and highly recommend Arden Country House to anyone seeking a peaceful and elegant getaway."

Tip:
"We enjoyed several dinners at 1807 Restaurant. We only discovered the Bridge Inn on our last night and went there for drinks, but that is worth checking out as well. Do not miss Linlithgow Palace! It was our favorite of all the castles and palaces we visited. Walking around the lake and perusing the small local shops in downtown Linlithgow is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. The historical museum downtown is worth checking out as well."

We are so lucky to have such a variety of birds, including the overly friendly pheasant, Jockey. The property itself is stunning and very well maintained in pleasant surroundings.
We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful very high quality experience.
You are bound to enjoy, possibly the best breakfast in Scotland!!!"

Tip:
"Property is about a mile and a half outside of the town and just to far to walk for an evening meal. Not really a problem as there are several good local eateries and parking is not an issue.
The area is well worth a visit as there is lots to do in the vicinity."
