"I've just come back from 6 nights at the Cosy Shepherd's Cabin and I cannot find a single fault with this accommodation, it's a little jewel in the vast wilderness of the area. It is very cosy indeed, especially when a hoolie is blowing outside! 10/10 for cleanliness and comfort, the kitchenette is spot on and very well equipped, the bed is comfortable, all in all great value for money. Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. I wish that there were more of these cabins across the Highlands! "

"Situated on the southern end of Loch Assynt, this is an ideal base where to explore Assynt and Coigach from, whether by car, on foot or by bicycle. It's a 20-25 minutes drive to Lochinver and 30-35 minutes to Ullapool. The wi-fi is really good, stags and deer graze in the evening just outside of the cabin and it's literally a 4 minutes walk to the shores of Loch Assynt. If you enjoy the peace and quiet, the great and wild outdoors and want all the comforts without the fuss, this is the place for you. I'll be back. "
