"The “Back Wing” at Pen y Craig is a lovely, authentic, and comfortable country farmhouse for a week’s stay. Highlights for us included the spectacular views down to the sea, the easy access to local footpaths, and the cosy woodburner in the sitting room. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and the owners were friendly and responsive to questions. Perfect for an autumn getaway."

"Lovely circular walk with great views starting up behind the farmhouse and going down through Church Bay and along the coast."

"Wonderful location. We stayed in the back wing and it was such a lovely property. It had absolutely everything you could need for self catering with the little things being provided for you, which it can be easy to forget. Spotlessly clean and the little touches such as books and local history information. It had a real old world farmhouse charm. Would definitely recommend."

"We found the owners friendly and approachable whilst also giving us privacy. They were lovely with our adult son who has Learning Disabilities. The property has a rustic feel and it was fun to use the wood-burner to get cosy. The facilities were great for cooking our own meals, although I bought my own pressure cooker it did have everything you would need to cook for yourselves. Everything provided was new looking and clean and I believe the owners would have helped had we needed anything, they let us borrow a hairdryer for our stay."

"The WaveCrest, just a short walk away in Church Bay, was great, providing delicious food during the afternoon (do check the seasonal opening times). The Bay Inn nearby is a drinking pub only, it has a novel garden and terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery.
From the property there are local walks along the coastal path and quiet beaches nearby.
On one day we shopped in Lidl in Holyhead and then ate at The Sea Shanty in Trearddur Bay which has a big sandy beach. Further along the coast the RSPB site South Stack is a must for birdwatchers. It has a car park and a modern cafe with seating inside and benches outside overlooking the sea, just make"
