"We had a lovely stay, Mark and Victoria were very welcoming and on hand if we had any queries. We had the entire farmhouse and enjoyed the garden in the hot weather. We were pleased there were some condiments in the kitchen, always useful when self catering. Beds were a bit hard but it was very peaceful. "

Tip:
"The pub opposite up the hill is very quirky and lovely for a drink with fantastic views of the bay. We had one meal in The Lobster Pot but it was a bit disappointing, over priced and not so special. However the Wavecrest cafe was excellent. Pity they have limited opening hours as their food was good. Scones with strawberries and cream amazing.

We visited Sir Kyffin Williams gallery, well worth a visit and Beaumaris Castle. Stand out trip was South Stack RSPB really beautiful and interesting. Bodnant Gardens and Portmerion also outstanding places to visit.

Not forgetting the beach at Church Bay and a swim in the sea. Beautiful. "

"We have stayed in the Front Wing at Pen Y Craig for two weeks for many Years.
It is like coming home every time.
We love this lovely old farm house and its location on the hill above Church Bay.

"The Pen y Graig 'Back Wing' was a pleasure to live in, equipped with all we could want to make us comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and gave us the treat of pulling back the curtain to reveal a view across the fields and the sea toward Holyhead mountain. The experience of the week was certainly enhanced when we looked out at the chickens stepping around the main yard, or looking at the slowly munching sheep over the wall in the field behind and the low flying swallows. The dedicated and sheltered 'Back Wing' garden was a real pleasure, with sheep over the walls, so our picnic lunch was accompanied by gentle bleating.
Victoria and Mark were friendly hosts and made us feel welcome. We had a lovely stay."

"Two of us stayed for a week of mixed weather in June.
The surrounding views and countryside were impressive, with a view across the water to Holyhead with the gentle traffic of the ferries to and fro from the port.
With a short walk down to Church Bay, with the interesting restored building 'Swtan' giving a taste of nineteenth century life in the bay, or the evocative Churchyard of Eglwys y Santes whose steeple we could see from the downstair and upstairs windows.Of course, the coast path strikes off from Church Bay in both directions, offering the amazing coastlines to be explored and enjoyed without needing to get in the car. Good swimming at Church Bay.
