"We have been raving about this wonderful B and B ever since we left. Gillian and John were amazing hosts who have thought of every detail to make their guests feel comfortable. You can see the castle where Mary Queen of Scots was born and a lovely view of the town from the breakfast room window as you eat the best breakfast you will have on your trip. The train to Edinburgh is a five minute walk from their front door and a 15 minute ride into the city itself. The rooms were beautiful with extremely comfortable beds. We slept in every morning! Exceptional!"

"There are some nice restaurants in the town, but we would recommend you skip The Four Marys Pub if you’re looking for a good meal. "
