"A beautiful gite superbly equipped with everything you need

Antony and Rachel are the perfect hosts.

The gardens are beautiful and the views stunning.

After a day exploring the surrounding area it was a real treat to relax by the pool and spend evenings on the terrace having a drink, reading, playing games. "

Tip:
"You definitely need a car for your stay to make the most of the area.

Places to visit are Carcasonne , maybe go later in the day when it is not so busy see the medieval fortress and stay on in the city for the evening look around the shops and go for a meal (most restaurants don’t open until 19.00hrs)

Minerve - a beautiful village with artisan shops and bistros. Plenty of vineyards to stop off at on the journey.

Go to the Monday market in Mirepoiux

Wine tour at Gayda and dine in their restaurant

Friday evening drinks at the neighbouring village of Ferran.
