Our location, with the park just across the road and so many beautiful local walks nearby, does make Rosemount Hotel in Pitlochry a wonderful base for a dog-friendly break. Some of our rooms are more compact than others, while our Premium rooms and Junior Suites offer considerably more space and lovely views. Unfortunately, over such a busy weekend, those larger rooms were already fully booked, but we would always be very happy to help you choose one of them for a future stay. Anne was only too happy to show us on a local map a couple of walks that we could take with our dog, and to give us information about the town and its attractions. We enjoyed our cooked breakfasts and to our chats with the staff there. The room had lovely views and was spacious as was the en-suite bathroom, and all was very clean. "

Tip:
"The hotel is in a quiet area and no more than a 10 walk from the centre of Pitlochry which was ideal for us. There is on site car parking. The lounge area looked very comfortable although we didn’t have time to spend any time there."

Thank you very much for your lovely comments about the team and breakfast. We’re so pleased you felt well looked after and started the day happily fed. On the bar point, we could probably explain this a little better in-house. Late evening demand for drinks has changed quite noticeably in the last few years, so we now offer an online ordering option via the QR code at reception rather than keeping the bar formally open late when it is very rarely used. It means guests still have a way to request drinks later in the evening, while helping us keep the service matched to actual demand. Thank you again for staying with us, and for giving us the chance to clarify that.
