"Stunning views and an excellent breakfast! We also appreciated the availability of fresh milk (not just in rooms, but some to take out during the day with our flasks), the fridge in the room - not noisy at all - to keep picnic food fresh and re-freezing of ice packs overnight too. Comfy beds and a lovely guest lounge making the most of the views. "

Tip:
"The Broadford Hotel also has a lovely view from its restaurant, and Armadale Castle does good food at a lower price (though not in the evening). Strathgorm proved a good base for widely exploring the island - almost anywhere you go is a lovely drive. We especially enjoyed a boat trip from Uig harbour to see seabirds on the Ascrib Islands, Dunvegan Castle & gardens and the Fairy Pools - a real sense of being among the Cuillin without any level of mountaineering necessary.
Take waterproofs and just get out there! Out towards Point of Sleat and up to Claigan beach were lovely coastal walks. "

"we had a fantastic stay - the owner ,allison, was absolutely terrific. we were delayed in getting there before 6 pm and when i called her she was so kind and said not to worry and just to get here safely. upon arrival, she showed us to our room which was perfect and explained everything. her homemade breakfast was fabulous. the last morning we were not able to have breakfast so she fixed us a "to go" bag and added some stuff for lunch too!!!!
allison was so personable and kind and we woukld highly recommend staying at her B&B anytime -thank you allison for your warm hospitality."

Tip:
"plenty of things to do on the isle of skye and it is a magical place!!!"
