"It’s only basic could do with a better heater we brought extra bedding and the mattress is abit springy but will stop again and again x"

"Excellent site and location. Really enjoyed my 4 night stay."

Tip:
"I found travelling into Durham from the site very convenient by bicycle. 4-5 miles and approx 25 mins. Mostly flat on off road trail and quiet roads. A couple of steepish short inclines where I got off and walked. Where there is an uphill there will be a downhill on the return. I locked my old bike up in the city and encountered no problems."

"Beautiful location.
Facilities spotless and very well kept campsite."

Tip:
"A bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop. We used taxis to get in and out to Durham and the price was decent between 4 of us.
Bring ramps as most pitches are hilly. The site also has some spares!"
