"A lovely, well positioned, peaceful site with the backdrop of Finchale Abbey. Staff very pleasant. Will return. "

"Close to Durham and the A1 and yet beautiful and peaceful. Lovely riverside walks from the site, as well as Finchale Abbey on the doorstep. In our experience, booking a specific pitch does not guarantee that pitch if someone else has swapped to it before you arrive, but one in the ‘section’ will be available and a quick call to staff will confirm where you can pitch instead. Well worth a visit. "
