"Levelling blocks are essential on this lovely quiet site. Facilities kept spotless and having use of the laundry a definite plus if touring. Interesting ruins to explore, pretty river walks and only 1.5 miles from an M&S food hall. The cafe at the on-site farmhouse does a good bacon butty."

"Make sure you have levelling blocks as most pitches require them.
Visit the Beamish Living Museum but don’t expect to see everything in one day!"
