"Enjoyed this cosy warm lodge for six days. Patrons very helpful. Bed really comfortable. The two dogs settled well, with treats, poo bags and towels at the ready. Flowers on the dining table, organic tea , coffee provided with shortbread biscuits and milk in the fridge. Fresh eggs on the side. "

"Having visited twice I can say without doubt it is a beautiful place to stay. Richard pops by to say hello and offer information about good places to visit which is very helpful. The lodge itself is perfect, fully equipped with everything you will need and the garden has a wide variety of wildlife visiting. We were very lucky to see a Pine Marten. The surrounding scenery is stunning. It is a peaceful setting for a very comfortable lodge and I would highly recommend staying here."

Tip:
"A visit to Skye is well worth it. We loved the stunning scenery. Also worth visiting is Fort Augustus/Dores/Loch Ness, Lossiemouth, Roseisle Beach and Loch Morlich. If you are bringing your dog there are no restrictions at the beaches, Reelig Glen is a great walk for dogs and we did visit a couple of bars, The Isles Inn at Portree and The Salt Cellar at Lossiemouth and both are dog friendly."

"Our second stay at Moniack Lodges. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The lodge is located in a beautiful and quiet spot, secure garden area with picnic table in rear woodland location and patio seating at front with spectacular views to surrounding countryside. Lodge is equipped to an extremely high standard, comfortable and dog friendly, easily accessed off road parking. Smithywood Lodge is our absolute favourite location and has a unique formula in providing a memorable and relaxing holiday. We will certainly return."

"Moniack Lodges are located in a rural position surrounded by beautiful countryside but also offering easy access to beautiful beaches, country walks (Reelig Glen a short walk away is a magical forest area with signposted trails). The beautiful village of Beauly is a short drive away, historical, quaint and provides a Supermarket, Petrol Station and many local produce shops and cafes/restaurants, a great Fish and Chips shop too! Beauly also has a medieval Priory a must to visit. Close access to the City of Inverness, Culloden Battlefield (NTS) and Fort George (Historic Scotland) which also offers dolphin viewing hotspots all highly recommended. A Highland Cornucopia awaits you!"
