"I spent 16 marvelous days in the junior apartment of My House Palermo. The price was modest and the apartment, located on the 3d floor, provides all the amenities, including a washing machine! In 2 minutes you are at the beginning of Via Dante, one of the main artery of beautiful Palermo. From there you can either walk or take the bus to the main attractions including the important Arabo-Norman sites, now inscribed on the Unesco’s List. At that time Palermo was the most brilliant and cosmopolitan cultural and commercial center of the Western World. Beautiful Palermo, in her Conca d'Oro, still feels like a cultural capital city. Not surprisingly the founder of my own City, the great Calabrian Abbot Joachim of Fiore, had been part of the brilliant court of King Ruggiero II and this helps understand much about his farseeing reforms placed under the Pythagorean sign of a New Order embodying the Secularization of the Spirit, namely historical becoming.
Aside from culture and shopping, Palermo offers two great Lungomare, including Mondello, in a Gulf that can rival with that of Naples. Even in Winter time the temperature is pleasant and feels like Spring. The City offers an interesting nightlife, something rare in Southern Italy, and the food is great. Palermo is a must see touristic venue and My House Palermo is certainly the right place to be.
