"A beautiful setting with a lovely rose garden, native shrubs and trees bringing the birdsong. Lovely converted chapel close to the wonderful regional town of Boonah with fireplace and friendly service. The breakfast consists of local produce from the Scenic Rim - what’s not to like?"

Tip:
"Commercial Hotel for dinner, Sugarloaf Bakery and Arthur Clive’s Bakehouse in Boonah for excellent home made food. "

"Barking dogs in adjoining property and busy road in the morning did not help in seeking peace and quiet."

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Our breakfast is advertised as a generous continental breakfast, rather than a cooked breakfast, and includes a selection of cereals, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, local artisan sough dough breads, croissants, local preserves, juice, tea and coffee. We understand that you were hoping for a cooked, protein-based breakfast, and we’re sorry this was not what you expected. We were also disappointed by the barking dog on the neighbouring property. The dog belonged to a landscaper carrying out work next door, and although we asked him several times to please manage the barking, unfortunately our requests were not acted upon. We completely understand how frustrating this would have been when you were hoping for a peaceful stay. We appreciate your feedback and will review how clearly our breakfast offering is described so future guests know exactly what is included before booking
