"We have been visiting regularly for more than 15 years now. We love the idyllic quiet tranquility of the location. There are many homely little touches from the unsurpassed welcome & friendlyness from Wendy & Stuart who go full out to please. They even moved the lambs feeding station so that we had a great view. If you haven't been before give them a try soon!"

Tip:
"Wheldrake Ings Nature Reserve & hides are close by & well worth a visit with a there & bank walk up to 4 miles."

"The Drovers arms pub is a great place to eat annd only a few minutes by car from the site.
Electricity is metered at a very good rate and at least you know you’re not subsidising other wasteful campers. Just a short drive to the beautiful city of York. You won’t be disappointed. 😁"
