"Snowdrop Cottage welcomed me, tucked neatly in the moor,
A quiet haven made for rest, I couldn’t ask for more.
With David and Michelle’s warm touch in every room and view,
It felt like breathing out at last — a place to start anew.
I wandered down the winding lanes to where the pint glass clinks,
A cosy pub with stories old and food that warms and thinks.
And afterward, the cream teas came — the West Country at its best —
Soft scones and clotted comfort were the icing on my rest.
Wild ponies grazed the heather, red deer drifted through the light,
Each moment felt like Exmoor had slowed time down just right.
My batteries recharged themselves with every dawn we met —
Snowdrop Cottage held us gently, in a way I won’t forget."
