"A splendid property in a stunning location which was really comfortable and well-equipped. The cottage blends modern convenience with a lovely sense of typical Applecross old-world charm.
John and Elsie are really considerate hosts and the instructions/guidance notes in the cottage are clear and helpful with thoughtful ‘extras’ such as dishwasher tablets and a treats basket.
I will definitely booking Airdanair again and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends."

Tip:
"Make sure to bring your binoculars! From the cottage you are able to see dolphins playing to the north of the sound, there is the resident pine marten which mooches in the garden in the evening and there are otters on the hill lochs and around the coast. The bacon buns from outside The Applecross Inn are pricey but well worth it and the ice cream and fish and chips are good too."

"Elsie and John both made very welcoming and helpful hosts from the very start.
We felt almost 'family' especially bearing in mind the warm cottage on our arrival in less than clement weather. "

Tip:
"Applecross is a bit too far at 6miles to eat out at night, even if there was space. Very crowded for its size.Self catering was what we came to do and that is what we did.
Fed the Pine arten family that shared the property and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The Kenmore Smokehouse provided plent of sea food and have a wee cafe in their beautiful garden that is good excuse to linger."
