"Just go planning to relax. A pair of walking boots are handy.

"The hut is well presented and we really enjoyed staying here with our puppy. The totally enclosed garden gave us peace of mind. The hut is well finished and I loved the fact we had a ‘real’ mattress rather than in sofa bed type. The log burner was simple to use and we felt toasty throughout our stay, even in the rain and wind of late October! "

"Think everything is well described on the booking details. Not a lot nearby in terms of shops but everything short drive. "

"2nd time around in Shepherd's View. Lovely self-contained hut in a peaceful setting. All you hear are sheep and horses. Love the village and the community in Alburgh. Great walks!
Only cons - very soft mattress, lack of power from the shower and harsh checking out time."

"Grain brewery pub is only open Fridays and Saturdays. No cafe nearby if that's important to you."
