"Debbie and Jason are very welcoming and accommodated my vegan diet very well with several tasty breakfast options. My room was very comfy and quiet, which made it easy to switch off and relax in. The location is just a short walk from the train station, town centre, Peasholm Park and the seafront. overall my stay was excellent value for money.

I took the direct bus to Whitby for a day visit - we liked the recently opened Whitby jet museum

"Fantastic B & B, Debbie and Jason are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Also must point out that this B & B is very Coeliac friendly - freshly baked cake on arrival and complimentary cake in our room - all food was carefully prepared which was a big plus for my wife who requires Gluten Free food.
Easy parking on the street outside- permit provided by hosts.
Would highly recommend "

"Just ask Debbie or Jason and they will help in any way they can"

"D&J are a friendly, engaging people who are really plugged into the town, full of recommendations. They're gracious, generous hosts, considerate of so many aspects of the guests experience, always looking for ways to make it a good as possible. Other review will praise the breakfasts at The Kensington Guest House with language that looks like hyperbole. It isn't. There's such consideration going into the food - it's substantial, it's flavoursome, there's an incredible diversity of options; we turned up with one gluten intolerant guest and one vegetarian and I've never known a guest house offer such an array to choose from.

Would heartily recommend."

Tip:
"The Golden Grid was the best for us in terms of quality fish/seafood and we enjoyed just wandering around the town, soaking up the atmosphere. Took a boat trip on the Becca Marie which can only be booked via a phone call - worth doing in the Summer months."
