"The breakfast offer was unique and pre-ordering allowed for prompt service, enabling us to get away by 8:15, giving us plenty of time to get to Ullapool for the morning crossing to Stornoway. "

Tip:
"We took a walk to the Jam Jar Bar (2.8 miles). It was a simple route along the main road. There was very little traffic so we felt quite safe and it was easy enough to step onto the verge as vehicles approached. The menu at the pub was varied and the food was excellent. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. The walk back was in the dark so it was useful to have a torch to ensure drivers could see us. "
