"Casas da Vila is a refugee from this insane world. Is a place to chill and reflect on people and moments we should be grateful for and think of things we no longer need. It's a piece of paradise visually and mentally.

We found the location a bit far from the Quadrado area or even the historic part of the town if you're walking but it was certainly worth every moment.

I loved the colors and how the staff is so passionate about what they do. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and uncomplicated. Made with just local produce and love. I miss it everyday.

I am now back in New York City working at my desk thinking with myself why do I need all this? The best things in life are simple and yet extremely satisfying.

I've researched quite a bit before picking Casas Da Vila and I don't think I would be satisfied anywhere else in Trancoso but there. Everywhere else looked expensive and unoriginal. Casas Da Vila is not that, it's extremely simple and yet very well though out and structured.

"All local restaurants are nearby. The walk to the beach goes along the heart of Trancoso and takes only a few minutes. Even several discounter are in the nearest surrounding."

"You're not staying in a traditional pousdada....the owners, Felipe and Keri will transport your experience to another level. The ambiance is superb, the details of the decor in the homes is exceptional. and the friendliness of the owners ---there are no words to describe. "The beauty of Casas da Vila is that you're in walking distance to the quadrado. Restaurants and entertainment are nearby. Would highly recommend going Terra Vista beach. Its away from the crowds, great lounge chairs, food. Its tucked away and perfect setting."
