"We stayed here for my daughters wedding weekend, using the house to get ready for the big day and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The location is beautiful and peaceful and the house itself is stunning. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and warm. The hosts Joyce and Gary are wonderful people. Friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. From staggered breakfast to accommodate hair and make ups schedules, ironing board and iron and ensuring rooms were clean and tidy on our return after leaving a small amount of chaos in our wake.
Breakfast was delicious, served in a room with a beautiful view. There is also a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy a morning coffee surrounded by nature.
I especially appreciated touches such as unlimited fresh milk and proper ground coffee, Gary’s homemade flapjacks and the fresh coffee and banana cake on arrival. Although if I had one piece of feedback it would be to provide the option of larger coffee cups.
I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m looking forward to returning in the future for relaxing weekend.

"Joyce and Garry, what a wonderful couple and fantastic hosts. We loved our time at Lys-Na-Greyne so much , we can't wait to return. Nothing was too much trouble and the intimate accommodation made us feel right at home. Breakfast each day was superb and a chat with other guets in the sitting room of an evening was a great way to unwind. Looking forward to returning soon. "

"An Castle Interiors tour of Balmoral was a true highlight , a must do.Visiting nearby Braemar and Ballater also provided some great shopping oppurtunities for local arts and crafts."
