"Michael is a great host, every detail has been thought of. Arrival is most welcoming and helpful information shared, including tram and bus journeys. The Pembroke is a fantastic B&B, we stayed in the Marriot room and it was great, the mattress is so comfortable and the large settee is perfect for relaxing. The toiletries supplied are plentiful and of the best quality. A nice treat to have an Alexa to listen to the radio. The breakfast is great, the prunes, grapefruit are delicious and the poached and scrambled eggs cooked perfectly. The coffee is lovely. The highlight of our stay in the Pembroke was use of Michael’s sauna room, a fabulous facility and such a wonderful way to start the day. We will return to the Pembroke when we visit the area again."

"Enjoy the walk into town and heading north on the promenade.
Visit the ballroom and tower.
Yorkshire Fisheries fish supper (note it closes at 7pm)
Cask and Tap for a real ale, before or after the chipper."

"We felt the attention to detail from the moment we made the booking. From enquiry messages to determine if we had any special requirements, sat nav details along with aerial view of property and how to access the car park. Faultless. Then we arrived, Michael was very welcoming in person - we felt like we were visiting a friend. The b&b certainly deserves its 5☆, in our opinion a definite 10/10. Added bonus, we both had the best nights sleep in ages. First visit - and definitely not our last."
