"The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast was very nice, plenty and well prepared.

Some small issues in the room - the TV untunes itself when you turn it off, so you need to retune it every time you turn it back on.

The shower water pressure was poor, and it was very difficult to get a good water temperature. It went between scalding and cool within a couple of mm of moving the dial. We had cool showers in the end as couldn't get it on an ideal temperature.

The rooms we had were both spotlessly clean, and the beds and bedding were comfortable. Very good value for money overall."

Tip:
"Wetherspoons had good value and nice food.

Good choice of restaurants at various prices within the area, but some get busy, so best to book in advance if you want to go to a specific one.

Easy walking distance to Southampton centre."
