"Fantastic stay, the hospitality (and especially the food!) was brilliant, thank you :)"

Tip:
"Even with the bad weather, we still found plenty to do thanks to Mary's recommendations. The only place we would avoid for dining, based on our experience, is The Swan Inn, but we had no problem finding somewhere else."

Thank you for a very kind review. I'm glad you managed to be undeterred by the awful weather and discovered things to keep you occupied. There are certainly some lovely indoor places around here. It's a shame the Swan wasn't up to scratch on Saturday. Hope to see you again before too long, meanwhile, happy walking on your big trek!

"From the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we were in a really lovely environment, spotlessly clean and with a smell of something cooking in the kitchen. We were instantly made to feel very welcome by our host Mary and will certainly be recommending this fabulous B&B to all we can! Very peaceful with great views of rolling countryside at the back, super comfy beds and a luxury bathroom. Don't get me started on the breakfasts, which were amazing!"

Tip:
"Ideally placed for a trip to this lovely area,
we ate at The Shaven Crown, which is also in the village around 10 mins walk away. There are also a couple of pubs in the village that serve food apparently but these were not tried."

"My friend and I stayed at the Sheepfold for a long weekend. The B & B is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms and living space are so comfortable and have everything you could wish for! Mary is an astounding host and goes above and beyond for her guests. Her breakfasts are superb and her hospitality is next to none! Perfect place for a relaxing, welcoming break in the Cotswalds!"

Tip:
"Had a lovely meal at the Shaven Crown Manor.

Great day out and walk in nearby Burford. "

Thank you for the great review scores. It was lovely to welcome you here and we hope you enjoyed your time with the extended family locally. Thank you for the useful comments about the lamps. We do have some taller, stronger lamps available which we don't routinely put out as they are a bit more obtrusive on the bedside cabinets. However, I shall add a note to the guest information so future guests are encouraged to request them if needed. Happy New Year!
