"Catherine and Ian are very welcoming, everything catered for. Pure luxury regarding Yurts, sauna, hot tub communal washrooms especially with new flushing toilets and covered washroom. Love the little touches such as fairy lights, candles, chocolates and welcome packs and breakfast hamper. The wood burners obviously make the whole experience so cosy and with an ample supply of wood and coal you will never be cold. Fantastic in all areas."

Tip:
"Yew tree pub is a must to have a nice quiet drink meet the locals whilst feeling like you've stepped back in time with the surroundings and music being played, possibly one of the best quirkiest pubs we've ever been in and 82 year old Landlord Alan and step son Dan were so friendly with their dog Maude. Definitely worth a visit and only 15 minutes walk from the yurts.

Recommend the treatments, this is our 2nd visit to Cloud house now and the treatments have been an added bonus to an already relaxing stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The yurt was lovely - very cosy, spacious and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful and you are provided with everything you would need (plenty of wood/coal etc) and shown how to use everything on arrival. The wood burning stove was great and the yurt was always toasty and warm (although we never let the stove go out as the weather was very cold when we stayed). The new washroom facilities are great - very stylish and modern with flushing toilets and hot showers. They were always clean and were also fairly warm which was nice seeing as it was so cold when we visited! We would definitely stay again...although maybe in spring or summer next time!"

Tip:
"We visited Chatsworth house during our stay which was a 45 min drive away but worth it just to explore the grounds (it isn’t fully open until later in March). We also ate at the star at cotton (a lovely pub just a short drive down the road from the yurts) and the duncombe arms (10 minute drive away). Both pubs were great, lovely food and atmosphere. "
