"What can I say? Nancy thinks of everything! The welcome and thoughtfulness were off the scale. The room was beautiful with gorgeous linen on the comfortable bed, lovely fabrics, spaces for everything, a wide choice of tea and coffee, good lighting adaptable to just about all needs, and a proper armchair. The bathroom, especially noteworthy in such an old house, was perfect, with modern fittings, wonderfully hot water, a deep bath, a great shower and plenty of quality towels. Supper, which Nancy adapted for us as our plans were rather uncertain, was absolutely delicious - seamlessly prepared and presented. Breakfast was excellent, too, cooked to order from the night before, with homemade bread, preserves and homegrown fruit. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, everything was first class and given with energy, friendliness and a smile. We can highly recommend Overtown Manor to anyone."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Overtown Manor. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was a welcoming fire in the drawing room. Overtown manor is in a beautiful rural setting and very peaceful. Breakfast included homemade preserves, stewed and fresh fruit, along with a delicious cooked breakfast. There are lovely touches such as homemade biscuits on the tea tray and dressing gowns provided. Nancy is a wonderful host and I have rebooked."

Tip:
"Avebury world heritage site is a few miles away, and Swindon is home to an outlet village and the ‘Steam’ railway museum."
