"There is a huge selection of various types of eating establishments, a short walk down the hill from Hilltop. It is central to the town, so easy to explore Kendal, there is a short, but steep climb back to Hilltop.
Easy access to many places of interest in The Lakes.
Haverthwaite Steam Railway is a short drive away, plus lake cruises. Sizergh National Trust property is a great place."
